Skuinskoek was the one speciality Ouma could later make in her sleep. :) Even when the skuinskoek became hard as stone, it still was tasty. Especially when dipped into hot , black coffee.
Ounooi,the lady from whom Peter received the recipe, was ouma's niece from Calvinia, where Ouma grew up on a farm in the district.
